The tour begins in the morning at the boat terminal in Puerto Madero. Board a modern vessel and enjoy a scenic cruise, navigating up the Rio de la Plata, the widest river in the world, and into the unique rivers and canals of the Tigre Delta, where a labyrinth of rivers and canals reveals a unique island lifestyle. Admire the stunning skyline of Buenos Aires from the water as you head north.
Upon arrival in Tigre, you will disembark and enjoy a delicious box lunch on the riverbank. Afterwards, your guide will lead a walking tour through the famous Puerto de Frutos (Fruit Port), a market where local artisans sell their goods, and the picturesque waterfront promenade, Paseo Victorica, where you'll see historic rowing clubs and museums.
Next, board the scenic coastal train (Tren de la Costa) for a ride to the elegant suburb of San Isidro. Here, you'll take another short walking tour to see its historic quarter and the impressive San Isidro Cathedral.
Finally, take the Mitre line train back to Buenos Aires, ending the tour at Retiro station.
