The bus driver (Sabrina) was so helpful & funny. Nice buses and detailed information during the tour.
We waited to be collected from our hotel, finally picked up and then spent a good 90 minutes picking up other people and finally arriving at the company office - we then spent another 40 minutes while waiting to get started (very poor organisation) - the driver of the bus didn't introduce himself and basically just drove us to the Everglades Park - there the fun began - we took our ride on the airboat ride which was fantastic - our driver Wade was excellent and gave us plenty of information - we saw quite a few alligators, a few birds and learnt quite a lot about the everglades - once we returned there was an alligator handling show which was a bit anticlimatic after the airboat ride - you could also have your photo taken with an alligator (for a fee of course) - then it was back in the bus for the ride back to our hotel - all in all a good day but a lot of our day was wasted just getting to the bus !!!
Great day out our tour guide was amazing.
Miami fun and sun: Want to have a party? Then Miami is the place to come! This is the cruise capital, and where better to take in the surroundings and have some fun at the same time? A party boat will give you music, dancing, drinks and plenty of fun. If you prefer something a little more sedate, then there are other options available, like visiting the everglades or cruising around looking at the homes of the rich and famous. Plenty of fun, in so many ways.
Plenty to do: Miami is a place with plenty of fun to be had, off and onshore. Check out the Art Deco styling on Ocean drive. There’s a museum and welcome centre too. South Beach is the place to be seen, and the Miami design district is a fantastic place to browse around. Miami and art just go together!
Best of the weather: Miami is fortunate in having reasonable weather year-round, with March to May being the best time to visit here. The daily temperatures are in the 70s and you have the thought that much of the country is still defrosting itself from the winter.
• It may be hard to believe but Miami was once a mangrove swamp, and what you will be standing on was man-made! It means that some of the beaches need to be replenished with sand, regularly too.
• You may well want to visit the Cape Florida Lighthouse, if you do then you’re visiting Miami’s oldest structure.
• Head out on a boat tour into the Everglades National Park and you’ll quite possibly see alligators, caiman, and crocodiles! Snappy fun there!
You will find there are several Miami lunch and dinner cruise options available. Check the individual tour details for the menu and the options available.
We realise you want to capture those destination hotspots on your tour. Many operators do offer free Wi-Fi on board, but you will need to check with the individual operator.
