This unique boat tour gives you an excellent breather from the hustle of the city and transports you to the lively but tranquil life of Mekong residents. Travel in comfort and enjoy a hotel pick up and depart to My Tho where you get the chance to experience rural life and visit beautiful orchards or family factories of the locals.
Upon arrival, you take a boat ride along the river, viewing stilt houses and fruit plantation along the banks. Visit fishing villages or floating fish farms at My Tho. It is then time for you to proceed to Tortoise Island (and find out exactly why the island is so aptly named!) and tuck into a delicious lunch in an orchard.
Thereafter, enjoy a boat ride through Tan Thach canal to Ben Tre, cruising under the shadow of water coconut trees and stop for visiting some families to get closer to their rural lifestyle and research their family business. Along the way you may stop and taste local treats as you please. After walking through fruit gardens and villages, we will come back to the boat and return to Saigon by car.
