When you try to find the rue to rivoli dont panic - it is a main road in paris - and the tube station is opposite the shop. you are kept fully informed at all times as to what is going to happen upon arrival at each destination. While the meal in the Effiel Tower was basic (salad, chicken potato and choc pud with a bottle of red wine) it was very nice and the service very good. The river tour was very informative - but dont forget to grab your bottle of red wine from the cafe shop next to where you board (and its only 11 Euros!) After the boat cruise you go to the Moulin Rouge - the only prob is the queing to get in - that took about 3/4 hour. but the show and champagne were great! Def a trip worth taking! enjoy! X

We had a lovely evening. Our guide was excellent, he made sure we had 5* attention, was very thorough with information and made sure everybody was happy with all arrangements. I now have this site in favourites.

Took my girlfriend to Paris for Valentines Day and booked up a number of activities in advance. This one was booked as a Sunday lunch on the last day of our trip and I didn't expect much given that the price paid was much less than all the other activities in comparison. How wrong could I be! It was a very welcome surprise as to how good everything was given the price of £30 each. Here's my thoughts on each aspect of the experience - Boat - spacious, tables not too close together, comfortable and we had a great table by the window so could see everything Staff - fairly friendly, and leave you alone for the most part Food - Starter was a tasting platter, got to try a few things including Foie Gras, this was a great idea and each dish was very nice. for Main, we both had the beef, it was a little overcooked and served with gravy which was odd, but accompaniments were very good and overall was a tasty course. The dessert was again a tasting platter with 4 desserts including Creme Brûlée, White Chocolate cake, and a Macaroon. Drink - wine was reasonably priced, paid £30 for a very very good bottle of Sancerre which is normally more expensive in a London restaurant let alone Paris. Scenery/Length of Trip - Excellent. The cruise lasted longer than advertised, around 2hrs 20 mins, saw a large number of famous landmarks including Notre Dame Cathedral, Eiffel Tower, Louvre etc. Really was a great way to see the sights Finally, there was a professional photographer on board who took some very good pictures of the two of us. It was expensive (as to be expected) but the photo's were of such high quality we ended up buying 4! Overall Experience/Recommendations - I would recommend this experience to anyone. It was one of the most enjoyable and value for money activities in our 4 day Paris trip. For the price you pay, you get A LOT for your money, especially given some of the ridiculous prices you pay in Paris for other things.
