Occasionally, you might spot rarer species like killer whales and fin whales, most abundant in summer. Admire the diverse birdlife, including puffins and gannets, while breathing in the fresh Icelandic air.

    Start at the ticket office by the Old Harbour in downtown Reykjavík to exchange your voucher for boarding tickets. Meet the crew at the Visitor Centre, housed in a converted fishing vessel. The boat offers outdoor viewing platforms, a heated indoor saloon with large windows, a cafeteria, and a cloakroom with blankets and overalls. Enjoy live commentary from naturalists as you explore this beautiful region.

    Perlan Museum Ticket:

    Welcome to Perlan Museum. It’s no alien spaceship but a museum that showcases Iceland’s natural wonders. The Perlan Museum takes you on an icy adventure and will reveal how these giant ice blocks play a vital role in nature. Then, visit the Wonders of Iceland exhibition, which includes access to a real ice cave, wrap up warm! Once you're done, head into the Aurora planetarium show, see the dance of nature's lights and look on in wonder and amazement.

    And after exploring the tunnels and planetarium, where you’ll be flown around the solar system, climb to the top for stunning views of Reykjavik and the surrounding countryside. A state-of-the-art facility that showcases the force of nature. It all makes for a special day out.

    Icelandic winters can be very cold, we recommend dressing in warm layers, a waterproof jacket, and sturdy shoes. We recommend bringing a winter hat, scarf, gloves, and wearing warm socks for colder days.

    Please note that this tour is weather dependent. In case of unfavourable conditions in the bay, the itinerary may be altered or the tour could get cancelled altogether. You will be notified of any changes as soon as possible.

    Since this is a wildlife tour we can never predict or guarantee sightings of any kind. In the event that we don't encounter any whales or dolphins, we do not offer refunds, but instead give our passengers a complimentary ticket to use another day.

    We follow a Code of Conduct for responsible whale watching, ensuring each encounter respects the animal's terms by adjusting our boat's position and keeping a safe distance to minimize disturbance.

    The temperature in the ice cave is -10°C, so warm clothes are needed. Ponchos will be provided

    Alternatively, take bus line 18 from Hlemmur to Perlan stop. From there it's a 6-minute walk

    Walk: it takes 20-40 minutes to walk from downtown Reykjavík to the museum

    Car: it takes 5-10 minutes from downtown Reykjavík to the museum. Free parking onsite
