Experience the stunning beauty of Lofoten’s Trollfjord on a luxurious and spacious yacht. Depart from Svolvaer through the open sea of Vestfjord, into the narrow inlet of Raftsundet.
Delve into fascinating Norwegian history and culture and soak in the breathtaking beauty of the enchanting fjord of Trollfjord (a 2 km long narrow slice of sea between cliffs) boasting waterfalls and majestic mountain peaks. Our knowledgeable crew will tell you all about the wildlife, landscape, and history of the resilient communities that live in this magnificent coastal landscape.
Tuck into a traditional slow-cooked reindeer meal on the return cruise, and keep your eyes peeled for white-tailed eagles, whales, and dolphins. Inform us beforehand about your dietary restrictions and the menu will be altered accordingly.
Vestfjord, Raftsundet and Trollfjord are spectacular because of the steep-sided mountains, narrow cruising areas, absence of roads and abundance of wildlife. Famous for its eventful history and serene landscape, Trollfjord was the setting of a dramatic battle between the first steam-powered fishing ships and the traditional open-boat fishermen in 1890.
Enjoy this cruise aboard a luxurious and comfortable sailing yacht with professional, experienced and friendly crew. With 2 outer decks and a large interior saloon, there is plenty of space for all guests to enjoy the tour themselves or with each other. The yacht, S/Y Stella Oceana, is 118 tons, 32 meters long, 5 meters wide and has an ice classification. All of these features, along with the yacht's former Norwegian Coast Guard Sea Captain, make the ship extremely safe and stable to sail in arctic Norway.
